Stephen Wegely

Boy's 14U Coach

My name is Stephen Wegley. I grew up in Merced, California and attended Golden Valley High School. There, I participated in multiple sports such as water polo, swimming, and baseball. 

After high school I majored in Kinesiology at Sacramento State University; specializing in strength and conditioning as well as sports psychology. I currently coach the boys 14U athletes with AR, and I am an Assistant coach for El Camino High School Men's Water Polo. 

As a coach, my goal is to help athletes develop their strengths; mentally and physically. This is best accomplished with a positive attitude and solid fundamentals. 

It is exciting for me to watch these athletes grow as students of the sport as well as future contributors to our community.
