2010 Fall Youth League

Join your neighborhood team and play in the first truly regional youth water polo league in Sacramento!

Teams will be formed at several neighborhood high school pool sites:

Confirmed: Bella Vista HS, McClatchy HS, Rio Americano HS and Woodcreek HS (Roseville Aquatics Center)

Other sites are being finalized and will be posted shortly.

Three age groups:

• Noodle Ball – Ages 5 to 7
• Micro Polo – Ages 8 to 10
• Youth Polo – Ages 11 to 13
• Ages are recommended. Experience, skill level and confidence are all considered when determining groups.
• All participants MUST be good swimmers (able to swim 25 yards if under 7 years old and 50 yards for ages 8 and up)

Never Played Water Polo Before? As long as you can swim, give it a try. Sign up for a free clinic or simply sign up and try it out the first week of practice.

Free Clinics are open to new and experienced kids alike...if you are a returning athlete, please try to bring a friend to try it out! 

Played on Youth League or Competitive Team? We want all of you to participate! Our goal is always to push all of our athletes and we will strive to ensure that athletes are placed in skill, age and ability level appropriate divisions. This league will allow you the opportunity to play games in a fun, positive environment, improve your skills, all while helping water polo grow in our region.

• Free Clinics will be held at each site between August 14-22
• Practices start the week of August 23 and will be held one weekday afternoon/early evening a week (plus practice on Sunday, August 29)

• Scrimmage Day on Sunday, September 12
• Games will be held on Sunday afternoons through October 17
• Registration is completely online, simply click on the Program Registration link on the left menu bar
• League fee is $75 for ages 5-7 and $145 for ages 8-13
• Fee includes insurance, T-shirt, practices and games. Sibling discount: 20% for first sibling and 40% for each additional sibling.
• No need for USA Water Polo registration

Free Introductory Clinics

The Free Introductory Clinics are open to boys and girls 5 to 13years old. Participants will be taught how the basics about the fun and exciting sport of water polo by our experienced coaching staff. Good swimming ability is required. To Register, click here. We will take walk ups, but appreciate your consideration in registering in advance so that we can adequately staff and prepare for the clinic.
